West Wycombe Park Polo Club

West Wycombe Park Polo Club

West Wycombe Park Polo Club was established in 1995, providing enjoyable low goal polo in one of the most beautiful settings in the country, West Wycombe Park, part of The Dashwood Estate. Located in the heart of Buckinghamshire, with easy road links to the M40, M25 and M4 the club is ideally placed for access from many main towns and cities.

The club has two boarded match grounds and an all-weather arena with around 50 members playing both summer and winter polo. The club provides competitive polo at affordable prices in a friendly welcoming environment.

When do we play

More details on our tournaments can be found on the "Tournaments" page – with the season running from April through to the end of September. Club chukkas are played on Thursday evenings and Academy chukkas (instructional) are played on Sundays. Chukka packages are available for non-members. Please contact the club manager for more details.

How to get involved

We welcome anyone who is interested in polo from visitors wanting to watch or find out more about the game to hardened professional players. Anyone can bring a picnic to one of our tournaments and enjoy a day in the beautiful surroundings of the estate watching games throughout the summer. If you want to get more involved there is a strong social side to the club and also opportunities to become one of our club officials, involved in goal judging, timekeeping and scoring.

If new to polo, taking up the sport is surprisingly easy; even if you can't ride, our experienced club coaches will have you on a horse and experiencing the game in no time at all. We run over 12 tournaments throughout the season with both home and visiting teams and individual players participating. If you don't have a team Becky our club manager will most probably be able to find you a team to play with.
